Our goal is to successfully teach our students the combination of 17 skills to become certified by the State of Michigan as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). We teach our students in as little as 2 weeks to become CNA’s.

Our goal is to teach our students the proper skill and knowledge to perform venipunctures and collect specimens to pass the National Healthcare Association Exam to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).

Our program is designed so that our students complete the course with a grade average of 90%, and pass the Headmaster testing on the first try.  At 1st Step we prepare our students for an entry level position in healthcare that will withstand any recession, while helping and caring for individuals as if they’re family.

At FSHCT, We like to volunteer our services throughout the community with workshops, community health events, and educating people on chronic illness such as, but not limited to hypertension, diabetes, and kidney disease.

We believe that our programs isn’t completely fulfilled without helping our community.

We give back to the community be staffing well trained and highly qualified nursing assistants.

We provide resume building, and job placement assistance throughout our community.

We provide tuition assistance and scholarships on the regular.
